Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division in North Carolina is seeking a Process Technician for the 2nd shift. Core hours are 3:00pm–11:30pm. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining molding equipment to keep production flowing in a clean, safe work environment.

You will troubleshoot tools, read blueprints, perform first piece inspections, and assist with mold changes. Two years’ experience with programming and maintaining manufacturing machinery is required, with ability to lift up to 35

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience programming, setting, running, and performing maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
Experience with various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

Set up, assemble, operate, and maintain a variety of equipment.
Plan and perform mold set up and processing to ensure optimal utilization of labor and machinery.
Troubleshoot issues with machines, tools, materials, and equipment and make repairs and adjustments as needed or escalate for additional technical assistance.
Assemble molds and components as specified by orders, routers, and blueprints.
Break down, clean, and store used molds and components, removing carbon, rust, or excess rubber.
Perform first piece inspections of parts to ensure they are in tolerance.
