Job summary

McKinstry in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations to lead day-to-day operations of our Offsite Manufacturing division. You will drive safe, efficient production of modular products, align schedules with customer needs, and set the operational direction for value streams.

You will champion lean and continuous improvement, coach a high-performing team, and collaborate across Manufacturing Engineering, Operation Excellence, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing or plant leadership, including 3+ years managing a production facility.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality management systems, and continuous improvement tools (ISO-9001/IAFT16949, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, VSM).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of assigned locations and value streams.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and quality production meeting schedules and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement across people, processes, and systems.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operation Excellence, Value Stream Management, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver scalable outcomes.
