Job summary

TK Elevator in New Haven, CT is seeking an experienced Project Manager- Modernization to oversee modernization projects from initiation to closeout, coordinating purchasing, scheduling and delivery of materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in elevator/construction industry.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret extensive technical instructions and handle multiple variables.

Responsibilities

• Sets up new modernization jobs and change orders, and submits for processing.
• Maintains job files and data; tracks status and communications.
• Issues purchase orders and files into job books.
• Coordinates schedules, scope of work, and OSHPD/DSA approvals for modernization projects.
• Monitors progress with customers, sales staff and superintendents to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepares acceptances and processes turnovers.
