Job summary

TK Elevator in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Project Manager for New Installation/Modernization to lead elevator projects from scope to delivery. You will coordinate with branch teams, manage safety programs, and ensure on-time, on-budget project execution.

The role requires a bachelor’s level background in elevator/construction, strong blueprint literacy, and stakeholder communication skills. Travel up to 10% is expected, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in elevator/construction industry desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of elevator equipment and the construction industry.
• Ability to read architectural/structural blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve project management efficiency.
• Foster safety culture; administer safety program and training.
• Coordinate programs to improve performance within a product line.
• Train Branch PMs and Superintendents for consistent performance.
• Manage cost tracking/reporting at project/branch level.
• Assess workflow, resources, technology, and skills for efficiency gains.
• Develop solutions to meet or exceed goals in quality and cost.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Define project scope with stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
• Monitor progress with detailed project plans.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost.
• Report project performance to management.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and updates.
• Collaborate with USFO Team on communication and performance.
