Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Project Manager for New Installation and Modernization in Detroit, MI. The role covers end-to-end project management from scope definition to delivery, coordinating internal resources, and ensuring safety and efficiency across projects.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in elevator/construction, strong blueprints reading skills, and experience with cost tracking and stakeholder communication. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in elevator/construction industry desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or structural blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of project management.
• Coordinate resources to ensure on-time, within-scope, within-budget project delivery.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost; monitor performance with tools.
• Train and support Branch Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Report progress and risks to management; maintain project documentation.
