Job summary

Auria Space in Colorado Springs is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer to support the MSV-TASD program at Schriever Space Force Base. The role focuses on infrared threat modeling and high-fidelity missile models used in BMDS simulations.

You will collaborate with threat stakeholders and software engineers, document requirements for infrared representations, and help ensure timely data production and V&V, while traveling up to 10% and maintaining a current Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance (in-scope) required at start of employment.
• 2 years of relevant experience, or 0-2 years with a Master’s degree.
• Strong background in math, physics or engineering.
• Experience with data analysis and modeling.
• Familiarity with thermodynamics and modeling & simulation methods.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Experience with scripting/automation languages (Python, Bash, MATLAB).
• Proven ability to produce reliable documentation and deliverables on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-fidelity threat modeling products for MDA BMDS.
• Capture and document infrared signature requirements for missiles.
• Collaborate with threat stakeholders, analysts, and engineers to achieve fidelity.
• Support data production and ensure V&V of deliverables.
• Work with software engineers to improve automation and tools.
