Job summary

Auria is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer 1 or 2 to support the MSV-TASD program, located on-site at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs. You will contribute to high-fidelity threat modeling and simulation efforts across multiple domains.

Responsibilities include developing ballistic and hypersonic models, applying engineering methods, and collaborating with systems and software engineers to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 2+ years of technical experience (Modeling & Simulation) for level 1.
• Active DoD Secret clearance at the time of application.
• Programming in MATLAB or Python or related languages is required.
• Familiarity with ballistic missile flight characteristics and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop ballistic and advanced/hypersonic kinematic threat models for use in modeling and simulation tools.
• Apply engineering and mathematical algorithms to accurately portray missile/space vehicle trajectories.
• Research, verify parameters to build and propagate trajectories, including staging debris and countermeasures.
• Author technical Verification & Validation documents and work with minimal supervision in delivery schedules.
