Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Colorado Springs is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer – Level 2 (Infrared Hard Body missile modeling) to join the Threat Systems Engineering team on-site at Schriever Space Force Base. This role focuses on high-fidelity threat models for MDA BMDS and requires a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field; 0-2 years with Master’s degree acceptable.
• Strong math/physics/engineering background.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Active Secret clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrared threat models and videos for missile systems.
• Assist in data production for MDA Ground Test Modeling and Simulation.
• Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to ensure V&V of deliverables.
• Contribute to automation and tool improvements to increase efficiency.
