The role focuses on infrared hard body missile modeling, developing high-fidelity threat models and coordinating with risk stakeholders and engineers to deliver validated simulations.

Requirements include a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master’s, strong math/physics background, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document infrared signature requirements for missiles.
• Develop infrared hard body missile threat models for modeling tools.
• Collaborate with threat stakeholders and engineers to achieve high fidelity representations.
• Support data production needs for MDA Ground Test Modeling and Simulation.
• Coordinate with software engineers to integrate models into the baseline.
• Ensure Verification and Validation processes are applied to deliverables.
