Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ seeks an entry-level Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Systems Engineer II to create high-fidelity simulations for missile design and flight-test support. You will develop modeling solutions and work with cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle.

This onsite role requires a Master’s in STEM and experience with C++, MATLAB, and Python. A DoD Secret clearance is required or transferable; relocation is eligible. Raytheon benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM obtained by start date.
• Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB and Python for evaluation of data sets.
• Experience developing or simulating physical systems.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions and conduct trade studies.
• Collaborate with Guidance, Navigation & Control, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel.
• Develop documentation, analyze data, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership.
