Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a General Manager in the St. Louis area to lead operations, develop teams, and drive account strategy. The role reports to the COO and requires a thoughtful leader who can measure performance and influence results.

You will supervise drivers, coordinate with the client, hire and train staff, ensure policy compliance, review reports, and analyze ridership to optimize routes. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in operations management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferable.
• Experience in public/private transportation demand management (TDM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily driver activities and enforce SOPs per client and WeDriveU policies.
• Be main client contact and participate in meetings.
• Make staffing decisions and communicate with drivers and client management.
• Hire, train, and develop new drivers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Review onsite records and inspections for accuracy.
• Promote safety awareness and morale.
• Assist in accident/injury investigations.
• Analyze ridership data and suggest route changes.
• Attend weekly client meetings and respond to feedback.
• Additional duties as needed.
