Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a General Manager to lead operations, supervise drivers, and drive client-focused strategies. You will oversee SOP implementation, staffing decisions, safety adherence, and performance reporting to ensure high-quality transportation services.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to optimizing ridership and service reliability across multiple locations in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Operations Management.
• Licensed Class B driver (Passenger and Air brakes endorsement).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in public or private transportation demand management (TDM).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of drivers and develop SOPs per client and WeDriveU policies.
• Serve as main client contact and attend meetings and conference calls as needed.
• Make staffing decisions and communicate them to drivers and client management.
• Hire, interview, road test, train and develop new drivers.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and maintain safety standards.
• Review on-site records, reports and inspections for accuracy and submission.
• Analyze ridership data and propose route changes as needed.
• Attend weekly client meetings and respond to feedback from client staff.
