Job summary

WeDriveU, a leader in shared mobility solutions, seeks a General Manager to oversee driver teams, develop account strategy, and drive performance with the COO. You’ll supervise daily operations, ensure safety and policy compliance, and partner with the client to optimize service delivery across locations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in operations management, a drive for excellence, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in operations management.
• Licensed Class B driver preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience in transportation or fleet operations preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily driver activities and SOPs.
• Main client contact; attend meetings.
• Make staffing decisions and coordinate with team.
• Hire, train and develop drivers.
• Ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor maintenance issues with vendors.
• Review onsite records and inspections.
• Promote safety and morale.
• Conduct area inspections and investigations.
• Analyze ridership and suggest routes.
• Attend weekly client meetings.
