Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a General Manager to lead and develop drivers, oversee client relationships, and drive operational strategy. You will supervise daily driver activities, implement SOPs, hire and train staff, and ensure safety and compliance across the fleet.

Reporting to the COO, you will attend weekly client meetings, analyze ridership data, and adjust routes as needed. A strong leader with 5+ years in operations management is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Operations Management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in public or private transportation demand management (TDM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily driver activities and enforce SOPs.
• Be the main client contact and attend meetings.
• Make staffing decisions and communicate with drivers and client management.
• Hire, train and develop drivers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Review on-site records and inspections for accuracy.
• Promote safety and investigate incidents as needed.
• Analyze ridership numbers and suggest route changes.
