Job summary

Numotion is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex manual and powered wheelchairs and related medical equipment. The role involves working in shop and in the field, with travel to customer locations to ensure safety and reliability of devices.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of mechanical experience, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Driving is required for travel between sites and customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or minimum one year of related experience.
• Minimum of two years of relevant mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop or in the field.
• Maintain stock equipment and ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and ensure safe operation.
• Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and timely, obtaining signatures.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use, care, and safety of equipment.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in required training.
