Job summary

Numotion is a leader in mobility technology seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex manual and powered wheelchairs and other medical equipment. You will work in shop and field settings, ensuring equipment safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

You will handle parts, documentation, and occasional travel, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and high-quality service for customers and caregivers.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required or minimum one year of related experience.
Minimum of two years of relevant mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
Basic knowledge of Word Processing, Email, and Internet for documentation and communication.
Valid State Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair equipment in the shop or in the field.
Maintain rental and stock equipment; keep it clean, organized, and in reliable working order.
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop/warehouse.
Maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safe operating condition.
Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
Complete documentation thoroughly, including signatures and reports.
Educate customers and caregivers on proper use and safety.
Perform minor fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
Follow safety procedures and regulations.
Participate in in-service training to stay updated with industry practices.
