Job summary

Numotion is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service complex manual and powered wheelchairs and related medical equipment. You will work in both shop and field settings, ensuring devices are safe, reliable, and ready for users.

The role requires two years of mechanical experience, use of hand and power tools, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. You will contribute to customer satisfaction through accurate documentation and safe, quality repairs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of relevant mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used for equipment repair.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop or in the field.
• Maintain rental and stock equipment for customer use.
• Keep shop/warehouse clean, organized and safe.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and ensure safe operation.
• Receive, store and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Complete documentation with signatures and timely reports.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use and safety of equipment.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments for comfort and customization.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in trainings.
