Job summary

Numotion, the leading provider of complex rehabilitation technology, is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair manual and powered wheelchairs and related medical devices. You’ll work both in our shop and in the field, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 2+ years of mechanical experience), plus proficiency with hand and power tools and a valid driver's license. Travel to customer sites is possible based on needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or minimum one year of related experience.
• Minimum of two years of relevant mechanical experience; experience with medical equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Basic computer skills: word processing, email, internet for documentation and communication.
• Valid State Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record; travel to various locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in the shop or in the field.
• Maintain rental and stock equipment, keeping it clean and in working order.
• Keep the shop/warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintain delivery vehicles for safe operation and proper organization.
• Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Complete thorough and timely documentation including signatures and reports.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use, care, and safety of equipment.
