Job summary

Numotion is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and other medical equipment. You will diagnose issues, obtain quotes, perform repairs in shop or on-site, and educate customers on safe operation. Travel to various locations is required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
Minimum two years of relevant mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
Basic Word Processing, Email, and Internet skills for documentation.
Valid State Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair equipment in the shop and in the field.
Maintain stock equipment clean, organized, and in reliable working order.
Keep a clean, organized, and safe shop/warehouse environment.
Maintain delivery vehicles in safe operating condition.
Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
Complete documentation in a thorough and timely manner.
Educate customers and caregivers on proper use, care and safety.
Perform minor fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
Follow safety procedures and participate in training.
