Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector to join our team. Inspectors are the face of the company, with deep knowledge of cars and the ability to explain findings clearly to clients.

The role emphasizes accuracy, energy, and trust in every interaction. You will inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease locations, document condition, estimate repair costs, and help the sales team by upselling services.

Qualifications

• 1 year(s) experience in automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Wrld verification: able to work outside in the elements and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage, missing parts and mechanical issues.
• Prepare and submit reports of vehicle condition and cost estimates.
• Assist sales team with relevant services and products and build client relationships.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect and write condition reports.
• Capture multiple photos and upload to the image server using company devices.
• List inspected vehicles on ACV Auctions platform for bidding and purchase.
