ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector who loves cars and delivers trusted, transparent service. Inspectors are the face of ACV, traveling to dealerships to assess condition, document findings, and communicate clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in the automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered, insured vehicle.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions and off-lease locations to detect damage and issues.
• Prepare and submit reports of vehicle condition and estimated repair costs.
• Assist sales teams with upsell/cross-sell opportunities and client education.
• Interact with dealers to ensure satisfaction and build relationships.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect and write condition reports.
• Capture multiple photos, align them with vehicles, and upload to the server.
• List inspected vehicles on ACV Auctions platform for bidding and sale.
• Onboard independent dealerships as buyers for the digital platform.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
