Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician II to perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and on-site service at customer locations. The role involves working Thursday through Sunday day shifts and may require welding, fabrication, and brake system work with supervision from a Senior Technician.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of related experience, and the ability to operate tools and TRAIT system software while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience.
• ASE certifications preferred or pursued within 18 months.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA regulatory requirements and have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment with minimal supervision.
• Document work and upload RO photos using iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot trailer systems including brakes, air lines, pumps, engines, liftgates, and frames.
