Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced technician to diagnose, inspect, and repair medium-duty trucks (Class 3-6) at the Lexington yard. You will perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and service components including brakes, electrical, hydraulic, A/C, engine, and exhaust systems.

Responsibilities include writing and closing work orders on a company device, managing inventory, and delivering accurate inspection reports while providing strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing medium-duty trucks (Isuzu, Hino, or similar).
• Experienced in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record & no suspensions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Comfortable working with computers for billing and work orders.
• Follows verbal and written work orders to stay on track with daily repairs.
• Confident explaining a diagnosis and helping determine next steps on repairs.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• Experience with medium-duty diesel or gas engines.
• Your own tools.
• Certifications are a plus | EPA 608/609/Universal & ASE

• Complete inspection reports and DOT documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver strong customer service and report findings to management.
