Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking a Mobile Engineering Manager to lead a small team of iOS and Android engineers building marketing and connected-product applications. This hands-on, player-coach role blends people leadership, technical direction, software development, and delivery ownership.

The ideal candidate has shipped production mobile software and understands integrations across APIs, cloud services, databases, connected hardware, and firmware interfaces owned by partner teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience leading mobile engineering teams.
• Proven mobile development skills on iOS and/or Android.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of iOS and Android engineers.
• Own technical direction, roadmap planning, and delivery.
• Contribute through coding, prototyping, reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Guide architecture and integrations across mobile apps, APIs, cloud services, and devices.
• Collaborate with product, UX, hardware, firmware, backend, QA, and other teams to deliver reliable experiences.
• Establish standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, releases, security, and production support.
• Communicate timelines and requirements with cross-functional teams.
