Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional mobile app development experience.
• Experience building production apps for iOS and/or Android.
• 3+ years interacting with IoT devices and embedded systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with BLE or similar device communication technologies.
• Experience using React Native or another cross-platform framework.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting communication between mobile applications and connected devices.
• Experience with security considerations for mobile apps and device communications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Build and enhance mobile experiences that communicate with IoT and connected devices.
• Integrate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), device provisioning, configuration, and monitoring capabilities within mobile applications.
• Collaborate with backend, cloud, and hardware engineering teams to deliver end-to-end connected solutions.
• Develop applications that are reliable in varying network conditions, including intermittent connectivity and offline scenarios.
• Consume and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
• Participate in architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure security best practices are followed for mobile applications and device communications.
