Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Mobile Senior developer to design and build cross‑platform apps for iOS and Android, focusing on IoT device solutions and cloud‑driven infrastructure. You will shape architecture, collaborate with multiple engineering teams, and own the mobile stack as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities include implementing high‑performance apps, integrating Bluetooth capabilities, debugging crashes, and ensuring smooth API and backend integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3 years of React Native native mobile development experience.
• 3 years of hands-on Bluetooth technologies experience.
• Proven track record delivering apps for iOS and Android.
• Strong backend knowledge: databases, servers, and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-performance, scalable consumer mobile applications for ios and android.
• Participate in the planning, analysis, creation, and design of iOS and Android applications.
• Develop and maintain SDK’s for embedding into other applications.
• Work with the Bluetooth stack of all major phone providers.
• Diagnose and resolve application crashes, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity issues.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware-software integration problems.
• Implement hotfixes and patches to address critical bugs in production environments.
• Collaborate with QA and support teams to reproduce and resolve user-reported issues.
• Continuously monitor error logs and analytics to proactively identify and fix defects.
• Other duties as assigned.
