Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to roadside calls, assist with jump-starts, tire changes, and lockouts, and safely tow vehicles as needed. You will work on the road, stay active, and provide excellent customer service while navigating DOT procedures.

This field-based role requires independence, safe driving, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. You’ll use tablets to manage requests and must meet pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver's license with minimal infractions.
• Pass drug screening, MVR, background check, and DOT physical.
• Able to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Experience with GPS and mobile devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance requests with tow vehicle.
• Provide tire changes, fuel delivery, jump starts, lockout assistance.
• Tow disabled vehicles following procedures.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Document daily activities and service calls.
• Maintain DOT certification and driving record.
• Support events as needed.
