Job summary

SBH Foods, a Popeyes franchisee, is seeking a hands-on Repair Technician to support restaurants in the Greater Orlando area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain kitchen and facility systems, traveling between locations to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical skills, comfort with troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently with a valid driver's license. Health benefits and growth opportunities accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance, equipment repair, HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, or related skilled trades.
• Restaurant or commercial kitchen equipment repair experience preferred.
• Able to read equipment manuals, diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair restaurant equipment and facility issues across Popeyes locations.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and emergencies.
• Respond to service requests, prioritizing repairs by urgency and impact.
• Diagnose kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, HVAC/refrigeration, lighting, and building systems.
• Complete repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, hardware, tile, drywall, and general needs.
• Coordinate with licensed vendors when specialized support is required.
• Communicate repair status and timelines with restaurant leaders.
• Maintain records of work, parts used, and outstanding needs.
• Keep company tools, equipment, parts, and vehicle safe and organized.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest long-term solutions with leadership.
• Travel between Popeyes locations in the Greater Orlando market and some other SBH Foods markets.
• Follow safety procedures and applicable codes and regulations.
