Job summary

MarketSource is seeking a Recall Repair Specialist to travel within the Toledo area, meeting vehicle owners in person to discuss open recalls and obtain authorization for on-site repairs. You’ll perform intermediate repairs and gain required certifications with provided training.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. The role emphasizes customer interaction, trust-building, and guiding conversations to achieve repair completion while meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 1–3+ years of customer service or sales experience.
• Light mechanical knowledge or tool handling.
• Ability to obtain certifications for mobile repairs.
• Comfortable working independently and traveling to assigned area.
• Ability to work Saturdays and occasional travel.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Physical ability to move objects up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Get out in the field and connect with vehicle owners face-to-face.
• Explain the importance of recall repairs and motivate timely action.
• Obtain customer authorization and clearly explain the repair process.
• Perform mobile recall repairs per manufacturer guidelines.
• Answer questions, ease concerns, and handle objections confidently.
• Document repairs, parts usage, and outcomes in internal systems.
• Work independently while meeting goals and making an impact.
