Job summary

MarketSource is seeking a Recall Repair Specialist who travels within assigned areas to educate vehicle owners on recalls and obtain authorization for on-site repairs. The role blends field outreach with performing intermediate repairs and requires good people skills and basic mechanical knowledge.

You’ll spend most of your day on the road, visiting customers, explaining the repair process, and ensuring high quality service while meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 1–3+ years of customer service or sales experience.
• Light mechanical knowledge or familiarity with basic tools.
• Ability to obtain required certifications for mobile repairs.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Ability to work Saturdays and occasional travel.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Physical ability to get in/out of a vehicle and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Get out in the field and connect with vehicle owners face-to-face.
• Explain why recall repairs matter and encourage timely action.
• Obtain customer authorization and explain the repair process clearly.
• Perform mobile recall repairs following manufacturer guidelines.
• Address questions and overcome objections with confidence.
• Document repairs, parts usage, and outcomes in internal systems.
• Work independently while meeting goals and making an impact.
