Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time mobile outpatient role in Chicopee, MA. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with opportunities for visa sponsorship and relocation support.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid PTA license in Massachusetts.
Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patients' residences.

Responsibilities

Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and required meetings as a representative of physical therapy, under the direction of the physical therapist.
Adheres to department and patient treatment schedule with timely documentation and attendance at work-related meetings.
Collaborates with rehabilitation team to implement programs tailored to each patient’s needs and abilities.
Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
Instructs patients, families and caregivers in the therapy techniques under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Maintains timely documentation for all patients and reports equipment needs for maintenance or repair.
