Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts to join an industry-leading rehabilitation team. The position supports mobile outpatient therapy for community-based patients and spans part-time to full-time shifts, with flexible coverage across early to later hours.

Responsibilities include assisting the Physical Therapist, coordinating treatment plans, documenting sessions, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from patients’ residence.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and meetings as a representative of physical therapy under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedule and documentation requirements.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to implement patient-specific programs.
• Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in physical therapy techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans and reports on equipment needs and repairs.
• Prioritizes patient service and delivers high-quality care with compassion.
