Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Mobile Outpatient Therapy team serving Northampton and surrounding communities. This is a full-time role supporting the Physical Therapist in providing patient-centered care across clinic, home, and community settings.

You will perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and assist with evaluations under supervision. Documentation, teamwork, and high-quality service are essential across clinics and home visits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have reliable transportation to patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and team meetings under the PT guidance.
• Adheres to treatment schedules and documents clinical and billing information.
• Implements individualized treatment plans with the rehabilitation team.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in PT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients.
• Performs tests, evaluations, and assists with complex procedures as needed.
