Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patients’ residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of physical therapy under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Adherence to department and patient treatment schedules, timely clinical and billing documentation, and related meetings.
• Collaborates with the rehabilitation team to implement patient-specific programs and activities.
• Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients and families in physical therapy techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports needs for repair.
• Prioritizes patient service and compassionate care.
• Implements individualized treatment plans as established by the primary Physical Therapist.
• Provides treatment modalities including therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy, airway techniques, and wellness guidance.
