Job summary

F3 Technologies, a field service leader in payment technology installations, seeks a Traveling Field Implementation Technician. You will travel across the United States and Canada to install, troubleshoot, and train on POS systems at diverse locations, ensuring smooth checkout and hotel/front-desk operations.

The role requires substantial travel, weekend shifts, and overseas itineraries as needed, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to a full week, with overnight stays away from home.
• Ability to work four weekend days per month, as well as early mornings, late evenings, overnight shifts, and holidays, as scheduled.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Valid government-issued ID for travel (REAL ID or equivalent).
• Valid passport with ability to travel internationally.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance of a major commercial airport.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized across changing locations and time zones.
• Continued education as required by partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Travel continuously to customer sites across the United States or Canada to install, maintain, replace, and repair POS systems.
• Install, maintain, replace, and repair POS systems with remote sites as assigned.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
• Lead high-level customer engagement during training, go-live, and troubleshooting services.
• Coordinate travel itineraries with scheduling and dispatch, adapt to delays and reassignments.
• Transport, safeguard, and track company equipment and inventory while traveling.
• Submit accurate expense reports and receipts per policy.
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used with required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Adhere to safety standards at all times, including while traveling.
