Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for Bedford and Manchester, NH. The role supports mobile outpatient therapy across SNF/ALF/ILF settings with a focus on improving patient function and safety.

As part of our team, you’ll participate in care delivery under a PT, contribute to documentation, and engage in ongoing education and mentorship opportunities while serving diverse patients in the New Hampshire area.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in NH or license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and meetings as a representative of physical therapy under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedule; completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to implement programs and activities suited to each patient's needs.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in therapeutic techniques under PT supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports the need for repair of equipment as necessary.
• Puts patient service first, delivering high-quality care in a compassionate atmosphere.
• Implements individualized treatment plans as established by the PT.
• Provides individualized PT treatments: therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy, modalities, health and wellness, and more.
• Performs other related duties as required.
