Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time roles in Northampton and Easthampton, NH. The position supports mobile outpatient therapy across ALF/ILF and community settings, delivering comprehensive rehabilitation and wellness services to older adults.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of physical therapy.
• Maintains adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements.
• Works with other rehab team members to implement programs and activities for each patient.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in PT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans, maintains, and reports equipment needs for repair.
• Puts Patient Service First and delivers high-quality, compassionate care.
• Implements individualized treatment plans as established by the PT.
• Provides PT treatments including therapy exercises, gait training, manual therapy, airway clearance techniques, and more.
