Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join mobile outpatient therapy teams across the Manchester area and surrounding communities. You will support aging adults in ALF/ILF, community homes, and outpatient settings with patient-centered rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Attends and participates in patient care and staff conferences as a representative of physical therapy under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules and completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with the rehabilitation team to implement patient-specific programs.
• Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Educates patients and caregivers in PT treatment techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all treated patients.
• Maintains and reports needs for equipment repair.
• Delivers patient-centered care and supports a sustainable path to recovery.
• Implements individualized treatment plans and provides various PT modalities.
• Performs other related duties as required.
