Powerback is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant for mobile outpatient therapy in Dracut, MA and surrounding towns. Dual NH/MA licensure is a plus to support care in Pelham, NH and Salem, NH as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PTA license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and meetings under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules with timely documentation and meetings.
• Collaborates with the rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
• Acts as assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in therapy techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Maintains and reports on equipment condition and repairs as needed.
• Implements patient treatment plans and delivers therapies (ex: therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy, etc.).
• Performs other related duties as required.
