Powerback Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time roles in Northampton, MA area with Easthampton, NH coverage. The role supports ALF/ILF and community-based therapy, including mobile outpatient services.

The PTA collaborates with Physical Therapists to deliver patient-centered rehabilitation across diverse settings. Qualified candidates must hold a valid PTA license and a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and meetings as a representative of physical therapy.
• Adheres to department schedule and completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with rehab team to implement programs matching patient needs.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in PT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation for all patients.
• Provides PT treatments including therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy and modalities.
