Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time work across Northampton, MA and Easthampton, NH mobile outpatient therapy services. You will assist the physical therapist with patient care, documentation, and program implementation in ALF/ILF and community settings.

You'll provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and wellness education while coordinating with the rehab team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Adheres to treatment schedules and complete accurate documentation.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
• Assists the Physical Therapist during tests and evaluations.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in treatment techniques.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports repairs when needed.
• Delivers patient-centered care with a compassionate approach.
• Executes individualized treatment plans and various therapies.
