Powerback Rehabilitation to You is seeking a part-time to full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support mobile outpatient therapy across Lowell, Chelmsford, and Tewksbury in Massachusetts.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care with a focus on functional recovery, education, and collaborative practice in an outpatient setting. A valid PTA license in MA and reliable transportation are required; flexible hours cover both part-time and full-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a PTA in Massachusetts.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patient residences.
• Outpatient therapy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to patient care and staffing conferences under the supervising PT.
• Maintain adherence to treatment schedules and accurate clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to implement patient-specific programs.
• Assist the PT during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instruct patients and families in therapy techniques under PT supervision.
• Maintain timely documentation for all treated patients.
• Operate and report on equipment maintenance and repair needs.
• Prioritize patient service, delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions.
• Deliver therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapies, and wellness education.
