Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support mobile outpatient therapy in Amherst, MA. You will work under a Physical Therapist to deliver care in home and community settings and help patients stay active and independent.

Responsibilities include patient care, documentation, and collaboration with the rehab team to implement individualized treatment plans. We offer mentorship for new grads, CEUs, visa sponsorship, relocation assistance, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license in the state of practice.
• Must have reliable transportation to patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Adheres to treatment schedules and completes clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with rehab team to implement patient programs.
• Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and procedures.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in treatment techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients.
• Operates and maintains equipment as needed.
• Delivers individualized PT treatments including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional activities.
