LifeSouth Community Blood Centers in Dunwoody, GA is seeking an experienced, people-focused leader to join our team as Assistant Manager - Donor Services, overseeing mobile blood collection operations and supporting regional goals. You will lead mobile phlebotomists, ensure training and safety, and build strong relationships with donors and community partners while upholding LifeSouth's mission.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of management or leadership experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop employees and hold teams accountable for performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily mobile blood collection operations and support regional goals.
• Lead, coach, and support mobile operations phlebotomists; emphasize accountability and development.
• Ensure training is detailed and effective; prepare staff to perform safely and successfully.
• Monitor weekly collection and recruitment goals; identify gaps and implement solutions.
• Visit mobile blood drives regularly to provide leadership and evaluate operations.
• Maintain phlebotomy proficiency and provide hands-on support when needed.
• Partner with regional leadership to address staffing and process needs.
• Build relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners through excellent communication and service.
• Represent LifeSouth professionally within the community.
• Participate in local, regional, and corporate meetings.
• Provide on-call leadership as required.
