Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers in Dunwoody, GA is seeking an experienced, people-focused leader to join our team as Assistant Manager - Donor Services. You will help lead mobile blood collection operations and ensure a high-quality donor experience while supporting regional goals.

The role requires at least three years of management experience, strong communication and coaching skills, and a commitment to safety and training. A high school diploma is required; CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of management or leadership experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees and hold teams accountable for performance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• CDL preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily mobile blood collection operations and support regional goals.
• Lead, coach, and support mobile phlebotomists with accountability and development.
• Ensure thorough training and safety for team members.
• Monitor weekly collection and recruitment goals and address gaps.
• Visit mobile drives and sites to provide leadership and evaluate operations.
• Maintain phlebotomy proficiency and provide hands-on support as needed.
• Partner with regional leadership to address staffing and process needs.
• Build positive relationships with donors and community partners through excellent service.
• Represent LifeSouth professionally in the community and at meetings.
