Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin is seeking a Donor Driver Specialist to perform phlebotomy collections, interact with donors, and transport mobile staff safely. You will operate a mobile drive vehicle, load supplies, and ensure a positive donation experience while upholding regulatory and safety standards.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, flexibility to work evenings/weekends, and DOT/cargo certification. Prior people-facing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• GED required.
• 1–3 years relevant people-facing experience preferred.
• Less than 1 year job-related experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, safety rules and manuals—required.
• Must have basic math aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays—required.
• DL number and cargo certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating a full-size commercial van and safely transports staff and supplies.
• Loads/unloads supplies and sets up at the mobile site, including technology systems and quality control.
• Performs donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Treats donors with customer service excellence and responds to inquiries with timely, complete responses.
• May conduct automation (Alyx and/or Trima) and recruit donors for automation.
• Maintains product integrity and ensures proper identification of donors and completes records.
• Rebooks donors for future donation appointments.
• Complies with regulatory and safety policies and other duties as assigned.
