Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin invites applications for a Mobile Transportation Driver. The role supports mobile blood drives, transporting staff and equipment safely to on-site collection locations and ensuring timely collection goals are met.

The position requires a High School Diploma and professional driving experience, with attention to donor safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation. Training on SOPs and donor services is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Equivalent education acceptable as stated in job description.

Responsibilities

• Transport staff, equipment and supplies in accordance with SOP.
• Drive company vehicle in a safe manner.
• Load/Unload and set-up and tear down equipment at mobile site.
• Pack supplies and equipment for mobile drives.
• Prepare blood and specimen tubes for transport and storage.
• Keep tally of units of blood donated at mobile sites.
• Greet and treat donors and co-workers with respect and courtesy.
• Conduct donor registration.
• Escort donors when needed to refreshment areas and assist with reactions.
