Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Illinois is seeking a Donor Driver Specialist to perform phlebotomy collection and transport mobile staff safely. You will engage donors with a high level of service and ensure a smooth donation experience at mobile sites.

The role requires valid licenses, ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a commitment to regulatory standards and teamwork. Compensation includes shift differentials and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years relevant people-facing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows all DOT guidelines when operating a mobile van and safely transports staff, supplies, and equipment.
• Loads/unloads supplies and sets up at the mobile site, including technology systems and quality control.
• Performs donor screening (history, mini-physical) and phlebotomy with a focus on service quality.
• Treats donors with exceptional customer service and responds to inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Recruits and supports automation as needed and maintains a positive team culture.
