Job summary

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is seeking a Phlebotomist Driver in College Station, TX. This driving role requires a Texas driver’s license and a good driving record, with a plan to obtain a CDL within one year.

You will travel to mobile blood drive sites, perform phlebotomy, and provide donor care to help ensure a safe blood supply. Ideal candidates enjoy donor interaction, can adapt to changing schedules, and are committed to saving lives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification strongly preferred.
• EMT Certification or licensure in a related healthcare field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Donor screening, blood collection, and donor care at mobile blood drive locations.
• Perform venipuncture and blood collection procedures.
• Ensure donor safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout donation.
• Monitor donors and respond to reactions or non-routine situations.
• Support mobile blood drive operations from setup through breakdown.
