Gulf Coast Blood is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist Driver to support the Texas Medical Center in Houston. This full-time role combines phlebotomy work with safe vehicle operation, monthly driving requirements, and donor care.

You'll perform pre-donation screening, venipuncture, and post-venipuncture care at mobile sites, while maintaining donor records and delivering excellent customer service. A valid driver's license and phlebotomy experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months of phlebotomy experience.
• Valid Driver's License with at least one year driving experience.
• Ability to establish rapport with donors and provide high level customer service.
• Professional interactions with others.

Responsabilités

• Operate departmental vehicle for transport to mobile sites.
• Complete pre-departure and post-draw checks of vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading and setup at mobile donor sites.
• Perform pre-donation screening, venipuncture, and post-venipuncture care.
• Accurately complete donor records in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills and focus.
• Recruit donors at donor sites.
• Attend continuing education in phlebotomy procedures.
• Maintain proficiency in phlebotomy procedures.
• Assist staff to maintain workflow.
• Additional duties as assigned.
